Semi Truck, Nearly $1 million in Cancer Drugs Stolen at Tennessee Truck Stop
The Giles County Sheriff’s Office reports nearly $1 million of cancer drugs were stolen with a semi truck on Thursday.
The department says deputies responded to the Pilot Truck Stop at 9211 Lewisburg Highway after the driver reported he stopped to fuel up but when he exited the store his truck was gone.
Based on surveillance video, investigators say the victim was followed by a Red Volvo semi. Once at the stop, a person exited the Volvo and stole the victim’s semi, driving south on I-65.
